A successful start for the DTM presentation in Wiesbaden

Wiesbaden. In the stylish environment of the headquarters of DTM series’ partner Henkell in Wiesbaden, a reception for special guests took place on the eve of the DTM presentation. Next to the DTM drivers of the two participating premium car manufacturers Audi and Mercedes-Benz, numerous dignitaries and representatives of the DTM series’ partners, race organisers and media were present.
Dr. Hans-Henning Wiegmann, spokesman of the board of Henkell & Söhnlein Sektkellereien KG, welcomed all the guests. “We are delighted to host the DTM in our headquarters for the second time already”, he said. The mayor of the city of Wiesbaden, the capital of the German province Hessen, Dr. Helmut Müller, was also happy with the second visit of the DTM to Wiesbaden: “The city is yours”, he said to the DTM fraternity. Dr. Thomas Betzler, board member of DTM rights holder and promoter ITR e.V., acknowledged the good co-operation with the city. “Wiesbaden is a fantastic backdrop for the DTM and with our presentation, we help to increase the awareness of the city”, he said.
Host Verena Wriedt guided the guests through the evening, the ensemble “Palais de Fous” provided the musical entertainment. A special highlight was a spectacular show act by “Aphrodites Töchter”.
