Mercedes-Benz and Groupe Hamel celebrate the groundbreaking of a new north shore dealership
TORONTO, ON? Mercedes-Benz Canada announced today that Groupe Hamel has broken ground and started construction on their new facility in Mirabel, Qu?bec. Conveniently situated at exit 23 off Highway 15, the new retailer is located close to Highway 640 and directly on the main route to the Laurentians.
When the dealership formally opens its doors later this year, staff will be ready to serve existing customers and welcome many new prospects from the Mirabel, Blainville, Sainte-Therese, and Boisbriand area and beyond.
The facility?s spacious and comfortable layout will meet all of the global ?Autohaus? design standards set by Mercedes-Benz. The bright new car showroom capable of holding 15 cars will be complemented by an adjacent indoor courtyard also able to display up to 50 cars. In addition, a distinct smart fortwo display area will ensure a strong identity for the smart brand in the region.
Marcus Breitschwerdt, President and CEO of Mercedes-Benz Canada, was pleased to join Jean-Fran?ois Hamel, President of Groupe Hamel, and the Mayor of Mirabel at the site for the official groundbreaking. Construction of this new retail facility represents a significant investment in the area that will create 40 new jobs once the dealership is fully operational.
