aircare and older mercedes

Hi,
Has anyone had problems aircaring a pre-catalytic vehicle?  I don't want to go collector plate because I want to drive to work, which means regular aircare testing.  I'd appreciate any info you have.

Unfortunately until they drop air care altogether. You will have to lean down your engine for air care purpose.
