DTM at the Norisring can be received via four DVB-T channels
Wiesbaden ? During the season highlight, DTM will provide its supporters with a very special service. By dint of a portable DVB-T receiver, the DTM supporters can watch the race action live - no matter if on the grandstands, in the ?Markenwelt? or on the campsite. Via four DVB-T channels, they will be provided with the race action, the original time monitors as well as a lot of other information on the race. All this can be received by dint of a small, portable DVB-T receiver. Furthermore, the device can be used to watch at any time all the other stations broadcasting via the DVB-T technology. All over Germany and ? quite obviously ? not only during the race weekend.
?We aim to keeping on improving the service for our fans as they represent our No 1 priority,? explains Walter Mertes, ITR e.V. Board Member Marketing and Sponsoring. ?With this innovative system, we are going to take DTM even closer to its fans, thus making sure that they won?t miss a single crucial moment of the race action.?
At the Norisring, the DVB-T receiver TechniSat TechniMax will be available exclusively as ?DTM Limited Edition?, for a special price of ?169.99 (not binding recommended price ?199,99). The technical specifications: 4.3-inch TFT LC display, MP3 player, video player, digital photo album, E-book function, touch-key operation, 2 GB memory (extendable via mini SD to 6 GB). Also part of the scope of delivery is a precious soft case.
ITR e.V. realises the project in co-operation with the companies TechniSat and MUGLER AG. For the duration of the event, a DVB-T transmitter will be erected right at the track. The region around the Norisring will be supplied by dint of a low-power transmitter that gets along with a transmitter power of just 30 W. MUGLER have designed an innovative device system enabling them to provide a temporary, locally limited DVB-T supply for events and major events.
