Annual Regional Mercedes-Benz Club of America ?Show and Shine? Nile Country Club, Mountlake Terrace

It?s time to put the techniques you learned at the Meguiar?s Car Care & Detailing class sponsored by your MBCA?Seattle Section in March and the Griot?s Garage Detailing event provided in May to the test. Join us for our 2008 Regional Show and Shine Picnic and help determine who will receive an A+ for effort by voting for your ?People?s Choice? favorites. Now is the time to pre-register your cars and to sign up for an All-American BBQ lunch featuring your summertime favorites: pulled pork sandwiches, all beef hot dogs, baked beans, tossed green salad with dressings, fruit salad, ice cold watermelon, chips, drinks and dessert.
Location: The Nile Golf & Country Club, 6001 244th Street SW, Mountlake Terrace, WA. Take exit 177 (State Route 104) off I-5. Travel west 3/10ths of a mile and make a right into the club.
Registration Fee: $15 per person for lunch, $5 for registration of your first show car and $2 for registration for each additional car you place in the show. Registration and lunch must be prepaid by August 3, 2008 so that we can provide the caterers with a lunch count.
Schedule of Events: 10 AM to 11:30 AM: Benz?s are Staged by Category; 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM: People?s Choice Judging; 12 Noon to 1:00 PM: Picnic Lunch; 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM: Announcements, Door Prizes and Awards
Charity of the Year: Raffle tickets will be sold for a chance to win a prize basket to support our selected charity of the year, Washington Women in Need. Check out the WWIN website at www. wawomeninneed.org for more information.
Local Hotels: Our out of town members may enjoy an overnight stay in a nearby hotel, close to the Nile Golf & Country Club and shopping at the Alderwood Mall.
