...I hope I run into you some time going through downtown Gent...

Mephisto 8)

Please please rephrase that! lol

My car improvements have stalled for the near future I'm afraid. I've begun a $65,000 renovation project on my loft. It'll be super cool when it's done, but I'm gonna be eating PB&J sandwiches for a while. (sorry Eddy)

:DI guess he doesn't know the inside joke.

Your loft will becomes a castle when it is done. I envy. Are you doing it yourself?

*Gent winces at the memory of rear-ending Eddy's B-class*  :-[

Castle? No. Waaaaay too small to be a castle.

We are installing a top of the line kitchen, upgrading the bathroom, redoing the floors and installing a spiral staircase as well as some custom cabinetry. We might install a wall bed upstairs and make a few other changes. A LOT of the dough is going into the kitchen though. Induction cook top, granite, copper, built in stove, microwave, tiny drawer dishwasher and a hidden fridge, funky undermount sink... blah blah blah. I WAS able to talk Laura out of the chromatherapy tub in the bathroom. Felt like I was having flashbacks every time I looked at the thing.  :D

I have found that although I can do most things by myself, I can't do as good a job as the pros, it takes me 3 times as long, and I am not happy with my end results. When you factor in what I value my free time at, it's just not worth doing it myself. You should encourage that attitude in me Eddy. LOL
