Stuttgart/Trutnov. Czech coach company Casia Tour & Transport has added a Setra TopClass 500 touring coach to its fleet. The three-axle S 517 HDH is the first vehicle in the current generation of Setra touring coaches to be delivered to the Czech Republic.
Travel company also provides international tours
The two coach operator owners, Lukáš Kult and Martin Prouza, took delivery of the luxury coach in the Setra customer centre in Neu-Ulm. The touring coach, which is equipped with the tinted Setra TopSky Panorama roof and 54 Setra Voyage Supreme light leather seats, will be used for touring throughout Europe. The interior headroom of 2100 mm and a level vehicle floor provide a feeling of maximum spaciousness in the passenger compartment. The on-board audio and video system delivers a wide range of entertainment with optimum picture and sound quality; a fitted kitchen and 220 V sockets on every seat are just some of the comfort-enhancing features that add the finishing touch to the touring coach. Under the bonnet of the S 517 HDH, a six-cylinder in-line engine OM 471 with 375 kW (510 hp) of output in conjunction with the GO 250-8 PowerShift transmission provides powerful acceleration – along with maximum fuel efficiency.
Optimum safety comes courtesy of state-of-the-art driver assistance systems such as an Electronic Stability Programme (ESP), Front Collision Guard (FCG), emergency braking system Active Brake Assist (ABA 2), Lane Assistant (SPA), Adaptive Cruise Control (ART) and Attention Assist (ATAS) for driver fitness and drowsiness detection.
The S 517 HDH already meets the safety regulations that place more stringent demands on driver assistance systems, which will only come into force in 2015, as well as Regulation ECE R 66/01 that applies from 2017. This Regulation prescribes enhanced roll-over protection for touring coaches.
