Mercedes-Benz Canada announced today that the company will continue to offer competitive pricing and exceptional value for every fascinating new 2010 model. For the 2010 model year, Mercedes-Benz Canada will keep model pricing nearly identical to the previous model year, and in some cases, it will even lower the base price or add additional no-charge equipment.
Pricing for the Mercedes-Benz B200 continues to start from $29,900, and the base price of the B200 TURBO has been decreased by $2,000 to start from $32,400. This year the B200 features a new 16?, 5-spoke wheel design, and the premium package for both the B200 and B200 TURBO now includes the Panoramic Lamella Sunroof and heated front seats. In addition, the B200 TURBO power seating package includes 10-way power adjustable seats for both the driver and front passenger, and the entertainment package has been broken out into separate stand alone options for the Sirius Satellite Radio and the harman / kardon LOGIC 7 Surround Sound System.
The C230 and Canadian-exclusive C230 4MATIC become the C250 and C250 4MATIC for 2010, and all models receive an updated design for the side mirrors, a Nappa leather trimmed steering wheel and standard driver?s knee air bag. The C350 and C350 4MATIC now offer standard 4-way power lumbar support with the seat memory function, and this upgrade is also included in the Premium Package on the C300 and C300 4MATIC. A rear view camera is now available on C300, C350 and C63 AMG models, and the optional new COMAND APS system features improved LINGUATRONIC voice control system for the audio, telephone and navigation systems that accepts commands and full words. Pricing for all 2010 C-Class models remain consistent with previous year levels. The Mercedes-Benz C250 starts from $35,800 for the rear wheel drive version and $39,500 for the C250 4MATIC. The C300 starts from $41,200, and the C300 4MATIC starts from $44,900. At the top-of-the-line, the C350 will be priced from $48,200 for the rear wheel drive version and $50,400 for the C350 4MATIC, and the exhilarating C63 AMG starts from $63,500.
The all-new, 2010 E-Class sedan represents the ninth generation of this celebrated business sedan that has sold over 10 million units worldwide. The latest models feature a more powerful and timeless exterior design, an all-new chassis, standard AMG sports package and a myriad of advanced technological innovations including: standard active Bi-Xenon Headlamps with Adaptive Highbeam Assist and LED daytime running lights, standard ATTENTION ASSIST and the optional DISTRONIC Plus with PRE-SAFE Brake, Blind Spot Monitoring, Lane Keeping Assist and Night View Assist PLUS. The luxurious interior features more passenger room, standard 14-way power front seats with memory, a panoramic sunroof, PARKTRONIC with Parking Guidance, and a COMAND high-resolution 7? display with Bluetooth, DVD Changer, COMAND Controller and PCMCIA card slot. Despite the numerous advancements, the 2010 E350 4MATIC starts from $62,900; an $11,600 decrease from the 2009 E350. The E550 4MATIC starts from $73,200, which also represents unprecedented value with a $12,100 decrease compared to the previous model year. The 2010 E63 AMG starts from $106,900. Pricing for the E-Class wagon and E350 BlueTEC will be announced next year closer to their official market launch.
The striking new E-Class Coupe is the latest edition to the E-Class family, and the sweeping roofline and absence of a B-pillar create a gorgeous and unmistakable appearance. Designed to deliver unmatched driving dynamics with the traditional Mercedes-Benz luxury and comfort, the standard Dynamic Handling Package features a Sport button that can change the vehicle characteristics between a more comfortable or performance oriented set-up. Inside, standard class leading interior appointments include: panoramic sunroof, 10-way power front seats with memory function, PRE-SAFE, SIRIUS Satellite Radio, a COMAND screen with 7? high-resolution display and COMAND controller, and a new multifunctional steering wheel with advanced multi-information display. The S-Class features an exterior and interior facelift for all models for 2010 that includes a revised front and rear end treatment, new LED front and rear lighting, a new exterior mirror design and tailpipes integrated into the rear bumper. The interior facelift details include an updated steering wheel design finished in Nappa leather with standard shift paddles, upgraded ambient lighting that now offers three different colour choices, and a revised front and rear seat design with a new rear centre armrest. All AMG models also now offer optional AMG carbon fibre trim. In addition, the S400 HYBRID joins the S-Class roster as the first HYBRID model from Mercedes-Benz, and the world?s first series-production HYBRID drive system that features a lithium-ion battery. A technological trendsetter, this advanced vehicle is the most fuel efficient luxury sedan with a gasoline engine. Pricing for the S400 HYBRID starts from $105,900. Pricing for the remaining models in the S-Class line-up remain consistent with 2009 levels with the S450 4MATIC starting from $108,000, the S550 4MATIC starting from $123,500, the S600 priced from $187,000, the sporty S63 AMG beginning at $150,000, and the base price for the flagship S65 AMG starting from $234,000.
The elegant and refined CL-Class enters the 2010 model year with an updated COMAND APS hard drive navigation with USB interface, standard media interface, upgraded ambient lighting and new poplar trim for the V12 models. These enhancements have all been included while still keeping pricing at the same level. The 2010 CL550 4MATIC starts from $130,500, the CL600 starts from $189,500, and the exciting AMG models are $159,000 and $241,000 respectively for the CL63 AMG and the CL65 AMG.
For 2010, the CLS-Class adds additional standard equipment including new steering wheel shift paddles, AMG styling package, AMG 19? 5-Spoke wheels and performance tires. Despite these significant enhancements, the base price for the 2010 CLS550 has been decreased by $5,000 to start from $88,500. The powerful CLS63 AMG will start from $121,300.
SLK-Class pricing remains consistent despite a new Nappa leather trimmed steering wheel and new standard AMG Body Styling with 18? Multi-Spoke AMG wheels for the SLK350. For 2010, the SLK300 starts from $57,500, the SLK350 is priced from $63,500, and the 355-hp SLK55 AMG starts from $84,800.
The 2010 SL-Class roadster also now offers standard AMG Sport Package that includes 19?, AMG 5-Spoke wheels, a sport steering wheel trimmed in Nappa leather, upgraded front calipers, perforated rear brake rotors and tinted headlamps and tail lights. In addition, Direct Steering is now standard on the SL550 and SL600, and all SL-Class models feature standard HD Radio. The SL-Class will keep pricing the same as the previous model year. The 2010 SL550 will start from $125,000, the SL600 from $175,000, and on the AMG side the SL63 AMG starts at $151,500 and the SL65 AMG will be priced from $238,500.
For the luxury light trucks segment, all BlueTEC units receive a nomenclature change and prices remain flat on the majority of the most popular models, which represents a compelling value proposition across the entire model range.
The base price for the 2010 GLK-Class starts from $42,900. A mid-year model update includes new Burl Walnut Wood Trim and adds the previously optional Sport package with 20?, 5-twin spoke alloy wheels and Aluminum roof rails as standard equipment.
For 2010, the ML320 BlueTEC becomes the ML350 BlueTEC, and across the model range pricing has been kept consistent with the previous model year. The ML350 4MATIC starts from $57,400, the fuel efficient ML350 BlueTEC 4MATIC starts from $58,900, and the ML550 4MATIC with standard AMG Styling Package and 20? 5-Spoke AMG wheels starts at $69,700. Pricing for the thrilling ML63 AMG 4MATIC also remains consistent and starts at $97,500.
The 2010 R-Class also offers standard equipment enhancements including 3 position memory for the front seats and a telescopic power steering column for the R350 4MATIC and R350 BlueTEC models. In addition, the Premium Package also features extra content such as a panoramic sunroof, KEYLESS GO and a 115V power socket. The 2010 R350 4MATIC and R350 BlueTEC 4MATIC base prices start from $54,700 and $56,200 respectively.
For the 2010 model year, GL-Class models receive an exterior facelift that includes new chrome features and a re-designed radiator grille, bumper and underguard on the GL350 4MATIC and GL450 4MATIC. In addition, all models display a new rear bumper design with integrated tailpipes and LED tail lights. The restyled interior of the GL-Class offers new ambient lighting, optional two-tone interior, a new seat design and a 3D instrument cluster. The GL350 BlueTEC 4MATIC starts from $69,000, the GL450 4MATIC starts at $79,900, and the GL550 4MATIC starts at $88,600.
