Mercedes-Benz Markham celebrates 10 successful years in its community

Markham, ON ? Mercedes-Benz Markham today celebrated 10 successful years in the Markham community by donating $5,000 to the local Markham Stouffville Hospital.
The Mercedes-Benz Markham team was pleased to welcome Frank Scarpitti, Mayor of the Town of Markham and officials from Markham Stouffville Hospital to help them celebrate this auspicious occasion. This donation continues Mercedes-Benz Markham?s tradition of actively supporting the local community by being involved in community events and various local sponsorships.
Ten years later, Mercedes-Benz Markham now employs a staff of 70 and has seen annual sales grow from 960 vehicles when the facility first opened in November 1998 to over 1425 vehicles this year; this represents an increase of 48 percent.
Conveniently located between Highway 7 and Highway 407 on Kennedy Road, Mercedes-Benz Markham boasts one of the largest modern luxury car showrooms in the Greater Toronto Area. With 12 service bays, Mercedes-Benz Markham also offers fast friendly service as well as extended service hours (including Saturday all day) to better serve the needs of its numerous customers.

Over the course of the last decade, Mercedes-Benz Markham has sponsored many local community events. It was the presenting sponsor of the Markham Jazz Festival and it helped raise funds for the Chinese Cultural Centre, the Angus Glen Community Centre and many other local initiatives. The dealership has always had a strong sense of local involvement and has placed great importance on giving back to the community it has and will continue to serve.
