Stuttgart. "Diamonds are a girl's best friend," as the unforgettable Marilyn Monroe once said. Sparkling crystals have always captivated women and given them a sensual radiance. Mercedes-Benz has joined forces with the Austrian crystal maker Swarovski® to develop a collection of jewellery, watches, and personal accessories that combine ultimate quality with sophisticated design and is aimed at the fashion-conscious women.
The Mercedes-Benz and Swarovski® brands share key attributes when it comes to their premium products: an attention to detail, the use of only the highest-quality materials, and pioneering designs. These values are reflected in each piece of the collection that the two traditional-rich companies have designed for “Her” with high standards.
The jewellery line in rose gold-coloured metal with black Swarovski® crystals is quite feminine and seductive. The delicate necklace is captivating with its crescent-shaped pendant bearing a rectangular crystal in the middle. Matching this is a sophisticatedly curved bracelet in two different sizes and an open-design ring, which are likewise adorned with a black crystal in the same rectangular shape.
The elegant key ring in the rose gold collection meanwhile has an oval embellished by a wealth of black Swarovski® Crystal Fine Rocks and features a flat split ring with three additional mini split rings for quick removal and changing of individual keys. The bracelet, ring and key ring sport discreet Mercedes-Benz lettering, while the chain boasts a refined detail in the form of the Mercedes-Benz star on the clasp. Further fine additions to the jewellery collection include a notebook in black cowhide with replaceable inlay and an oval, rose gold and black Swarovski® Crystal Fine Rocks-jewelled clasp as well as a rose gold-coloured ballpoint pen with shimmering white Swarovski® Crystal Fine Rocks on the shaft and a lasered historic logo on the topside.
Other Sporty and elegant items include the silver Milano key rings with a pendant in the form of a loop in red or black Alcantara®, which are adorned with a silver Mercedes star and a wealth of small Swarovski® Fine Crystal Rocks. The likewise silver St. Tropez key ring model boasts a round star badge with a background jewelled in black, blue, white, or red crystals. These models have a high-quality flat split ring with three additional mini split rings, too.
Naturally Mercedes-Benz and Swarovski® have also remembered woman's best friend. To match the ladies' personal accessories, there is a dog collar in black cowhide with a rectangular inlay in likewise black Swarovski® Crystal Fine Rocks and a rose gold-coloured clasp. The collar, which is adjustable in length, is available in sizes 28-36 cm and 48-56 cm, meaning that it can be worn by both small and large dogs.
The watch collection contains both classic and sporty models with refined crystal details. The white dial in the stainless-steel case of the ladies' Sport Fashion chronograph has 12 Swarovski® crystals as hour indices. Plum-coloured highlights on the dial and the white silicone strap underscore the sporty design of the waterproof quartz chronograph with stop function and a diameter of 39 mm.
The Classic Glamour watch model with stainless-steel case and calfskin strap really catches the eye when on the wrist. The black dial boasts eight white Swarovski® crystals as hour indices and a sparkling circle of black Swarovski® Crystal Fine Rocks in the centre below the silver luminous hands. The wristwatch measuring 37 mm in diameter is waterproof to 5 ATM and is driven by a quartz movement.
The Fashion Gold watch from Swaroski® for Mercedes-Benz is delicate and feminine. Its classic dial in elegant dark blue is framed by a stainless-steel case with gold-coloured PVD coating. Yellow gold-coloured hands and six appliquéd Swarovski® crystals as well as a blue strap made of textile and leather make the model with 35 mm diameter and Swiss movement a timeless companion with a modern twist.
The Black Edition from Mercedes-Benz and Swarovski® combines the colours black and blue to create enigmatically shining accessoriesn for “Her”. The double-looped armband in black Alcantara® is jewelled with blue and black Swarovski® Crystal Fine Rocks. Special details include the snap fastener with a perforated star rivet made of black, PVD-coated stainless steel. One counterpart for the other wrist is the Black Edition ladies' watch with case and strap in black, PVD-coated stainless steel. The distinctive design derives its feminine note from the 48 white Swarovski® crystals that surround the dial and the blue second hand. The watch of 36 mm in diameter is equipped with a date function and is waterproof to 10 ATM.
There are also Black Edition Milano and St. Tropez key rings. Here the metal sections are made of black, PVD-coated stainless steel. The black Alcantara® loop of the Milano model and the star badge of the St. Tropez model are adorned with blue and black Swarovski® Crystal Fine Rocks. As the icing on the cake for technology aficionados, the special collection includes a black USB stick with 16 GB memory, whose polycarbonate case is jewelled with countless black Swarovski® Crystal Fine Rocks.
