Muller cautious over title prospects

Yvan MullerYvan Muller is cautious about his World Touring Car Championship prospects, despite title rival and SEAT teammate Gabriele Tarquini crashing during qualifying at Macau.

Muller will start the first race on Sunday from third on the grid, while Tarquini will be back in eighth after hitting the wall 15 minutes before the end of the session.

The Frenchman has a 14-point lead working in his favour, but after last year - when he lost the championship due to a fuel pump failure with one lap remaining - he says that it is still too early to start celebrating.

"For sure it is better to be at the front than at the back, but we are not finished yet," he said.

"We are at Macau and anything is possible. For sure, I am in a better place than Gabriele is, but I have to stay focused anyway."
