Earlier today, MINI used its Facebook page to offer us a preview of an electric scooter that will make its debut at the upcoming Paris Auto Show. The company didn’t release any details about the future vehicle, only giving us three sketches that indicate the design direction followed by the two-wheeler.
As we said, the smart brand had announced a similar move back in July. However, the German company is not willing to let MINI steal its tree-hugging show, so it had decided to offer... a set of three sketches that preview its future electric scooter.
The details for the two-wheeler are limited, with the only available info showing that the German engineers have placed safety on the top of priorities shelf. One of the special features of the vehicle will be a special airbag that will offer protection during a crash.
As for the tech side, the zero-emissions scooter will use a lithium-ion battery pack that will offer it a range of 60 miles per charge.
smart is currently evaluating multiple possibilities to expand its business in order to take full advantage of the market’s potential through offering innovative mobility solutions. The company’s owner, Daimler, is aiming to take it high and thus willing to make important development efforts.
