Mercedes GP motorhomeMercedes GP's new motorhome has been revealed for the first time in the Monaco Grand Prix paddock - with the team determined to show that its 2010 efficiency drive does not mean it cannot impress.

The team elected to delay the debut of its 2010 motorhome until Monaco, using a DTM structure in Spain last weekend, because of the tight turnaround time between the first two European races.

Although the impressive two-storey glass fronted structure is state-of-the-art, Mercedes GP has ensured that its costs have been kept in check.

Mercedes-Benz motorsport boss Norbert Haug told AUTOSPORT: "We have not wasted one more Euro than we needed to spend on this."

Several teams showed off new motorhomes in Spain last weekend, including Virgin Racing, with Force India deciding to wait until Turkey to bring its new structure for the first time
