The 2011 DTM season at a glance
DTM
Hockenheim. Martin Tomczyk is the new DTM champion. With his Audi A4 DTM, the German scored points in all ten rounds and won at the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg, the Lausitzring and Brands Hatch (GB). His worst result were two fifth places in the Hockenheim season opener and at the Nürburgring. Fellow Audi driver Mattias Ekström became runner-up in the final drivers’ standings. Eventually, the Swede came within 20 points of the title.
